Monthly Food Drive – April
Many thanks to everyone who helped make the March Food Drive another success: 1,000 pounds of food was collected (700 sent to the Doylestown Food Pantry and 300 to the New Britain Food Larder) and $200 in gift cards were donated for our Code Blue homeless guests. Thank you once again to our amazing youth who are helping with this effort each month! If you wish to help collect donations and sort, please feel free to join us each third Sunday of the month – no RSVP required! The next Food Drive will be on Sunday, April 18, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. under the bridge on Mechanics Street. We encourage you also to donate $5 gift cards to local restaurants and convenience stores such as Burger King, Wawa, Wal-Mart, and Panera Bread. Be sure to join us for Easter in the Park on April 4 at 9:30 am in Central Park (425 Wells Road) in Doylestown to receive a special gift that will help you participate in these monthly “Drive-By” Food Drives!
