Peace & Justice

We seek to be obedient to God’s call to be peacemakers

The Peace and Justice Committee of Adult Christian Education believes God wills shalom – justice, wholeness, well-being, fulfillment, health, harmony – for all of God’s very good Creation. Therefore, we provide education for the congregation and advocate possible paths to restore the environment, to end hunger and poverty, promote peace in the Middle East and elsewhere, prevent violence in all its forms and bring to light other concerns that need the healing of the One we name the Prince of Peace.
